The Buffalo Bills were able to pull off another big win and are proving to be a threat in the AFC once again.
After some struggles this season for the Buffalo Bills, they now seem to be a team that is finding their stride late in the season. In the middle part of the season, the Bills had some issues on the offensive side of the ball, which resulted in a change at offensive coordinator.
With the change, the Bills seem to be finding their groove on the offensive side of the ball, and they have had some massive wins to keep their once-slim playoff hopes alive. While the Bills currently aren’t in the playoffs, they might be one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now.
In the last four weeks, the Bills have blown out the New York Jets, suffered a tight loss against the Philadelphia Eagles, and then won back-to-back games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys.
The win against the Cowboys moved the Bills to 8-6 and right in the hunt for a playoff spot in the AFC once again. However, they don’t have some of the tie-breakers needed against some of the teams ahead of them with the same record.
With the way the Bills are playing, they have emerged as a threat once again in the AFC. In the next two weeks, the Bills will be playing the Los Angeles Chargers and the New England Patriots. The Bills will likely be big favorites in both of those games and have an easy route to 10 wins.
Things get interesting for the Bills in the final week of the season, as they will be playing the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have two tough games coming up against the Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens and the AFC East isn’t out of the question for the Bills.
With three games to play, the Bills are looking like not only a playoff team but a true contender in the AFC. If they can find a way into the dance, the Bills should be a team that is feared in a conference that looks pretty open right now.
