Baltimore Ravens are the Team to Beat in the AFC

After a convincing win on Sunday Night Football against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Baltimore Ravens are proving to be the team to beat in the AFC.

With Week 15 in the books for the Baltimore Ravens, they find themselves as the only team in the AFC to have clinched a playoff spot and are currently the No.1 seed in the conference.

It has been a great season for the Ravens, who have proven to be the best team in the conference this year. With an 11-3 record, the Ravens have survived a very competitive AFC North this season and are seeking to have home field throughout the playoffs.

While some can say the schedule hasn’t been too challenging for the Ravens, they will be tested in the next two weeks against the San Francisco 49ers and the Miami Dolphins. The game against the 49ers will certainly be one to keep an eye on, as that is looking like a potential Super Bowl preview.

Even though the next two weeks for the Ravens will be telling, as of now, they have to be considered the best team in the conference and the team to beat for a few reasons.

First off, the Ravens have that franchise-caliber quarterback in Lamar Jackson, who is one of the front-runners for the MVP this season. While having a player like Jackson is important, they also have a great running game to go with him as always.

One of the big differences this season for the Ravens is their ability to throw the football a bit more with some weapons at wide receiver. This difference could be the reason why the Ravens can get over the top this season.

While the offensive side of the ball is balanced and strong, the old saying goes that defense wins championships. On that side of the ball, the Ravens are very strong once again this season, making them a complete package.

With the playoffs right around the corner, the Ravens will be gunning for the No.1 seed and the bye. In a conference that has some issues, the Ravens appear to be the team to beat.
