The Phoenix Suns, led by Kevin Durant’s 31 points and Beal’s season-high 25 points, secured their third consecutive win by defeating the Orlando Magic 112-107 on Sunday’s NBA action. Notably, this game marked only the fourth time the Suns’ star lineup of Durant, Beal, and Devin Booker played together this season.

Bradley Beal’s impressive athleticism was displayed as he executed a powerful two-handed dunk over Jalen Suggs. This highlight is part of Beal’s increasingly promising debut season with the Suns.

“We’re very talented, we’re very good,” Beal said. “We make it easy for each other.”

Beal, who has been limited to just eight games due to back and ankle injuries, showcased his scoring efficiency by shooting 10 of 13 from the field. Acquired from Washington in the offseason, the 30-year-old’s performance earned high praise from coach Frank Vogel, who highlighted Beal’s two-way impact on the game.

“That’s why we’re really excited about what Bradley Beal’s going to look like in a Suns uniform,” Vogel said. “He doesn’t really have his legs under him fully, but he goes 10 for 13, 25 points, several great one-on-one defensive possessions, took a charge, had some really athletic rebounds. He’s a dynamic player on both sides of the ball.”

Despite trailing for most of the game, Orlando mounted a comeback and narrowed the gap to two points at the end of the third quarter, with Paolo Banchero scoring 12 points during this period. The Magic briefly took the lead in the fourth quarter thanks to a three-pointer from Gary Harris. However, the Suns responded with a decisive 17-6 run, spearheaded by Durant’s efficient shooting and contributions from Booker and Jusuf Nurkic.

Phoenix’s bench contributed modestly, with Chimezie Metu scoring all six of the reserves’ points. Banchero led the Magic with 28 points, Franz Wagner added 27, and Wendell Carter Jr. contributed 17 points off the bench.

“They’ve got guys — particularly with Durant, Booker and Brad — any of them can close the game out,” Banchero said. “So when all three of them are out there it’s tough. It’s just hard to match their shot-making. We had some good looks that didn’t go down.”

The Suns exhibited improved ball movement with Beal’s return, a stark contrast to their struggles in the 12 games prior to their current winning streak. Durant acknowledged the team’s efforts to redefine their identity through extensive film study.

“It happens when you go through a rough stretch — you watch a lot of film and try to figure out who you want to be as a team,” Durant said.

Phoenix also saw the return of guard Josh Okogie from an ankle injury, while the Magic were missing key players Markelle Fultz and Jonathan Isaac due to injuries.

Looking ahead, the Magic will face the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, and the Suns are set to host the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
