Bradley Beal doesn’t want the Phoenix Suns to hit the reset button.

Speaking with reporters after the Suns’ 117-98 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night, Beal expressed a strong desire to return next season and see the team’s current core get another chance.

“I love Phoenix,” Beal said, via PHNX Sports. “I love being here. I hope I can continue to be here. But I know Mat [Ishbia], he’s gonna probably make some changes, but I enjoyed this group… I think that’s what kinda hurts us the most is that we were a connected team.”

Will Bradley Beal Begin the 2025-26 Season on the Phoenix Suns?

Beal finished the game with 21 points, six assists and four rebounds, helping Phoenix end its regular-season home slate on a high note.

The veteran guard, who turns 32 in June, appeared in 53 games during his first season with the Suns, averaging 17.0 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.3 rebounds. Injuries limited his availability early in the year, and the team struggled to find consistent chemistry en route to a 36-45 record and missing the playoffs.

Phoenix enters the offseason facing significant questions about its roster construction. Despite a star trio of Beal, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant, the Suns failed to meet expectations. Team governor Mat Ishbia is expected to evaluate all options, including potential changes to the team’s high-priced core.

Beal, however, holds considerable leverage. He remains one of only two players in the league — alongside LeBron James — with a no-trade clause in his contract. That means any potential move involving the three-time All-Star would require his full approval.

While rumors may swirl around the Suns’ offseason plans, Beal made his preference clear: he wants to stay in Phoenix and give this group another shot.
