In fact, Sam Khan Jr. of The Athletic ranked Chambliss the No. 3 player in the country in his preseason top 100 list, placing the Rebels signal-caller behind only Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore. That is one heck of an honor.

Chambliss arrived in Oxford after winning a Division II national championship at Ferris State.
