Phoenix Suns shooting guard Bradley Beal has been sidelined since November 10 because of what the team called a “low back strain,” an injury described as nerve irritation stemming from a disc issue in his back, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Beal used the past few weeks to rehab and stabilize his back. The All-Star plans to play on December 12 against the Golden State Warriors.
"It was more than a strain. I can't give you all the details or we'd be here all day."

The Suns are 1-2 with Beal in the lineup and 12-10 overall on the season. The Warriors game will be the first time Beal, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant will be on the court together at the same time.
The Suns acquired Beal from the Washington Wizards this past offseason in a massive trade involving Chris Paul and Landry Shamet. Beal is making $46.7 million this season. The veteran signed a five-year, $251 million contract with the Wizards in June 2022.

We all pride ourselves on taking care of our bodies and being available. Devin and I, we haven’t even gotten the good end of the stick.”
