LeBron James marked the Cleveland Browns’ latest close win with a brief social media reaction Sunday.
The Akron native posted “🐶 🐶 LFG!!” on X after Cleveland defeated the Tennessee Titans 27-24.
The result lifted the Browns to 5-2 and extended their run of victories decided by four points or fewer to five straight. Those prior wins came by margins of 23-19 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 21-18 over the Carolina Panthers, 27-24 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers and 13-10 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Deshaun Watson completed 25 of 36 passes for 308 yards and added a 9-yard touchdown run as Cleveland rallied from an early 14-0 deficit.
Rookie receiver KC Concepcion hauled in eight catches for 129 yards in his strongest outing of the season. Running back Quinshon Judkins scored twice on the ground and finished with 96 rushing yards.
The Browns amassed 491 total yards of offense in the game.
Andre Szmyt converted a 32-yard field goal as time expired after Watson found Harold Fannin Jr. on a 36-yard catch-and-run that set up the winning kick. It was Watson’s fifth game-winning drive in the fourth quarter this season.
“That was a fun one,” Browns coach Todd Monken said.
James has publicly backed the Browns for years, including after they snapped an 18-year playoff drought. He wrote “Playoff bound! Congrats Browns!! Yessir!!!! Don’t be satisfied though!” in January 2021.
He once supported the Dallas Cowboys but later explained the change by saying “I had to sit out on the Cowboys, man.”
James declared “I’m all in on the Browns” in 2022 when discussing his NFL loyalties.
The Titans fell to 1-6 with the defeat.Cleveland sits tied for first place in the AFC North heading into a three-game road stretch. The Browns have relied on late scoring drives in each of their five wins this season.
Watson’s passing and rushing contributions have proven decisive in several of those finishes. The pattern of narrow victories has defined Cleveland’s start under first-year head coach Monken.
James’ post reflects his ongoing support for the franchise near his hometown.
