Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray has taken another concrete step away from his Arizona Cardinals chapter by selling the Paradise Valley mansion he purchased during the height of his time with the team.

Murray closed on the 8,200-square-foot estate for $13.75 million on September 24 in an off-market cash transaction, according to reports from the Phoenix Business Journal and Arizona Sports.

Mark and Kristine Pedersen, with Mark serving as president of the Colorado-based Pedersen Toyota dealership, bought the property inside the gated Cameldale Estates community.

Murray had acquired the four-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home in November 2022 for $13.5 million, just months after signing a five-year extension with the Cardinals worth up to $230.5 million.

The modest $250,000 gain on the sale does not account for carrying costs or transaction fees over the intervening years, but the transaction itself marks a clean break from the residence he occupied while the Cardinals’ expectations for him never fully materialized.

Built in 2019, the house featured views of Camelback Mountain, two office suites, a large man cave, a theater, Italian limestone flooring, and a private gated driveway—details that once reflected the lifestyle of a young dual-threat quarterback locked into a long-term commitment in the desert.

The sale arrives seven months after the Cardinals released Murray while still responsible for roughly $36.8 million of his 2026 compensation.

He signed a one-year deal with the Vikings in March, joining the franchise he rooted for as a child.

Under head coach Kevin O’Connell, Murray won the starting job over J.J. McCarthy in August and has helped Minnesota open the season at 5-0.

In a recent 23-13 win over the New Orleans Saints, he completed 24 of 30 passes for 229 yards and a touchdown while adding 51 rushing yards.

Across his last two outings, he has posted efficient numbers without an interception, showing the kind of steady production that has stabilized an offense still searching for long-term answers at the position.

Even so, Murray’s future beyond this season remains unsettled.

His Vikings contract includes language that prevents the team from using the franchise tag next offseason, meaning any multi-year extension would require a fresh negotiation.

No corresponding home purchase in the Twin Cities has been reported, leaving open the question of how permanent his return to Minnesota will prove.

For the moment, the sale of the Paradise Valley property simply underscores how thoroughly his circumstances have shifted: the same player who once inked a massive Arizona extension is now leading an undefeated Vikings team on a short-term deal, having quietly closed the door on the estate that once symbolized his earlier career peak.
