The Los Angeles Dodgers have finalized their roster for the National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers, adding left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski while leaving infielder Hyeseong Kim off the 26-man list, via Dodgers Nation.

The series opens Sunday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee, with Game 1 pairing Tarik Skubal against Brewers starter Jacob Misiorowski.

The Dodgers carried 12 pitchers in their Division Series win over the Atlanta Braves.

For the best-of-seven NLCS against the team that posted the majors’ best regular-season record, they opted for an even 13-13 split of position players and pitchers.

Manager Dave Roberts explained the choice as a way to protect against late-game or multi-inning situations, noting that the Brewers’ lineup is balanced enough that matchups matter less than simply having an arm capable of covering two or three innings in medium- or lower-leverage spots.

Wrobleski, 26, spent most of 2026 as a starter and earned his first All-Star selection after a strong first half. He finished the year 12-5 with a 3.66 ERA across 140 innings in 22 starts and a handful of relief appearances.

His second half was less consistent—he surrendered 21 home runs for the season, many of them later in the year—and he spent a short time on the injured list as the Dodgers managed his workload.

With Skubal, Blake Snell, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Tyler Glasnow available in the rotation, Wrobleski shifted into a bulk-relief role late in the season and closed strongly, allowing just one run over his final eight appearances.

Kim, valued primarily for his speed as a pinch-runner and defensive replacement, appeared once in the NLDS but was not used in that capacity.

Leaving him off frees a spot for the extra pitcher without disrupting the rest of the position-player group.

Miguel Rojas remains on the roster after dealing with lower-back discomfort that forced him from a Division Series game; imaging showed mostly pre-existing issues, and he came through Saturday’s workout in Milwaukee without setback.

The move gives Los Angeles a left-handed option who can absorb innings if a starter exits early or if the bullpen needs protection across a longer series.

Wrobleski has previous postseason experience, including scoreless work in the 2025 World Series.

Against a Brewers club that thrived on depth and length all season, the Dodgers appear to have prioritized pitching coverage over an extra speed option on the bench.
