The Los Angeles Rams have already struck big once this offseason, acquiring superstar defensive end Myles Garrett in a blockbuster trade with the Cleveland Browns. Legendary defensive tackle Aaron Donald is also considering a return.

Now, the Rams have been connected to yet another future Hall-of-Fame pass rusher, one that has ties to the franchise: Von Miller.

Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox recently published a piece naming the top destinations for the best remaining defensive players in free agency, and for Miller, he felt Los Angeles was the best fit … this even though the 37-year-old has made it very clear he would prefer to return to the Denver Broncos.

“However, a return to the Los Angeles Rams would make even more sense. Denver has a deep pass-rushing rotation that recorded 68 sacks in 2025.

“While the Rams traded for Myles Garrett earlier this offseason, they traded away Jared Verse as part of the deal. Adding Miller to the rotation behind Garrett and Byron Young would be very sensible for L.A.,” Knox wrote.

Miller spent the 2025 campaign with the Washington Commanders and was surprisingly effective, registering 26 tackles, nine sacks and 15 quarterback hits while playing in every game.

The Texas A&M product was originally selected by the Broncos with the No. 2 overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft and spent the first 10-and-a-half years of his career in Denver, helping lead the franchise to a Super Bowl during the 2015-16 campaign.

The Broncos then traded Miller to the Rams midway through the 2021-22 season, and he then played a major role in winning Los Angeles a Super Bowl that year.

Miller spent just a half season with the Rams before signing a lucrative free-agent contract with the Buffalo Bills that ensuing offseason, but a torn ACL dampened his Bills tenure.

The DeSoto, Tx. native has made nine Pro Bowl appearances while earning three First-Team All-Pro selections. He has also finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting twice.

Miller may no longer be the same player he was during his prime in Denver, but he could still help a contender … like Los Angeles, for example.

The Rams went 12-5 and made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game last season, where they lost to the Seattle Seahawks.
