According to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Brooklyn Nets want the equivalent of two first-round picks for Dorian Finney-Smith.

Multiple teams around the NBA are interested in acquiring Finney-Smith, sources told NBA Analysis Network.

“Finney-smith is a great player on an affordable contract,” Scotto said on the HoopsHype podcast with Bobby Marks of ESPN. “He’s a guy who could fit literally on every team, but on a championship contender or high-caliber playoff team, he’d be great. They would want the equivalent of two first-round picks for him, I’m told.”

The Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers are interested in trading for Finney-Smith, sources told NBA Analysis Network. Finney-Smith is making $13.4 million this season. The small forward will make $14.4 million in 2024-25.
