The Phoenix Suns have ruled out Kevin Durant for Monday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers due to discomfort in his right hamstring, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Earlier in the season, Durant had to take time off due to an ankle issue, though it didn’t keep him away for an extended period. However, given his history of missing the 2019-20 season and not playing over 55 games in any season since then, any injury is a cause for concern.

While Durant’s absence is a significant loss for Phoenix, the team still has considerable talent in players like Devin Booker and Bradley Beal. It’s been a struggle to have all three stars in the lineup simultaneously, with Durant being sidelined as the latest snag in that process.
