Notre Dame Locks Up New Major Offensive Commitment

Notre Dame secured a significant commitment on Tuesday from the NCAA transfer portal, and the newest addition to their roster is none other than Jayden Harrison, a former standout wide receiver from Marshall University.

The original report was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, by Transfer Portal.

“BREAKING: Marshall transfer WR Jayden Harrison has committed to Notre Dame Harrison was a Walter Camp First-Team All-American as a return specialist this season. He averaged 30.7 yards per return.”

Harrison’s journey in college football began at Vanderbilt, where he spent a single season before making the switch to Marshall for the following three years. Throughout his collegiate career, Harrison accumulated 71 receptions, covering 779 yards and scoring four touchdowns, with an average of 11 yards per catch.

In the most recent season with Marshall, the team faced some challenges, finishing with a 6-7 overall record. Despite the team’s performance, Harrison remained a standout player, recording 28 receptions for 410 yards and adding 1 touchdown to his name.

For Jayden Harrison, joining Notre Dame signifies a significant step forward in terms of competitiveness and the potential for winning.
