Former NFL running back and current Fox Sports analyst LeSean McCoy spent some time with Josh Allen during his stint with the Buffalo Bills, so he knows the quarterback pretty well.
During an episode of Speak this week, McCoy said that he absolutely believes Allen can bring the Bills back to the playoffs and added that Allen is a top three signal-caller in the NFL.

While McCoy acknowledged that Allen goes “up and down,” he said he is good enough that you have to learn to live with it.
Most recently, Allen went 23-for-42 with 233 yards, a touchdown and an interception while carrying the ball 10 times for 32 yards and a score in a 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
On the season overall, Allen has thrown for 3,447 yards, 25 touchdowns and a league-worst 14 picks. He is also completing 66.9 percent of his passes while posting a passer rating of 93.4. In addition, he has rushed for 374 yards and 10 scores, averaging 5.2 yards per carry.
Allen, who played his collegiate football at the University of Wyoming, was selected by the Bills with the seventh overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.
The 27-year-old experienced some growing pains early on, but by his third season, Allen broke out, totaling 4,544 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while completing 69.2 percent of his throws and registering a passer rating of 107.2 en route to a Pro Bowl appearance. He also finished second in NFL MVP voting.
Josh Allen hasn’t quite matched that production since then, but he has remained one of the league’s best quarterbacks and has led Buffalo to the playoffs four years in a row.
This year, however, the Bills are just 7-6 and are fighting for their postseason lives as they prepare to host the Dallas Cowboys this weekend.
