Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen faced some challenges during the 2023 regular season, but his performance on Monday showcased why his highs far outweigh his lows in the long run.

In a game that got rescheduled to Monday afternoon due to a massive snowstorm in Buffalo, Allen displayed his prowess by throwing three touchdowns and running for another, ultimately leading the Bills to a 31-17 victory over the Steelers.

As Bills fans cheered on, remnants of the snowstorm filled the air when Allen executed a remarkable 52-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

This electrifying run marked the longest playoff touchdown run in franchise history, and it appeared as though Allen might settle for a more modest gain with a slide. However, he continued to power through the Steelers’ defense, turning it into a memorable scoring play.

Tight end Dawson Knox noted that such extraordinary plays have become routine for the quarterback.

“It’s almost normal now. Him making a crazy play like that almost every single game. Sometimes you just can’t help but just to sit back and be a fan.”

With this win, the Bills are now set to host the Chiefs in the divisional round. While it won’t be the first time that Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes share a playoff field, it will be their first encounter in Buffalo.

The Bills have their sights set on a deeper postseason run and will be counting on their quarterback to deliver the magic needed to advance to the AFC title game.
