Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has reportedly inked a new apparel deal with Under Armour, marking a notable shift after parting ways with longtime sponsor Nike.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Pro Bowl pass-catcher is set to become a prominent figure in Under Armour’s football marketing campaigns and one of the brand’s flagship athletes in the division.
With this move, Higgins joins a roster of high-profile NFL talents backed by Under Armour, including Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson, Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, Philadelphia Eagles wideout DeVonta Smith, and Baltimore Ravens duo Zay Flowers and Kyle Hamilton, among others.
Under Armour has been investing heavily in football talent, and positioning Higgins as a central marketing asset signals confidence in his on-field trajectory and marketability.
Details of the deal’s financial terms have not been disclosed, but the partnership underscores Higgins’ rising profile as one of the league’s top young receivers.
Higgins is entering his seventh NFL season and just made his first Pro Bowl in 2025 after catching 59 passes for 846 yards and 11 touchdowns in 15 games.
The 27-year-old was originally selected by the Bengals in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft and immediately established himself as a premier receiver during his rookie campaign, snaring 67 balls for 908 yards and six scores.
Higgins then went on to post back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns in 2021 and 2022.
The Clemson product has failed to reach 1,000 yards since, with injuries largely to blame.
Higgins hasn’t played a full season since his rookie year, and it also doesn’t help that Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow has missed extensive time, as well.
Higgins is serving as the Bengals’ No. 2 receiver behind Ja’Marr Chase. We’ll see if he can rack up another 1,000-yard season in 2026, which would certainly make Under Armour happy.
Cincinnati went 6-11 last year.
