After being eliminated from the NBA Playoffs by the Dallas Mavericks, who could the Minnesota Timberwolves pursue to help bolster their roster this offseason?

It was a really good season overall for the Minnesota Timberwolves, as they were able to take a big step forward as a franchise by advancing to the Western Conference Finals this season. Unfortunately, they were eliminated by the Mavericks in five games rather easily, but it was a great season overall.

Now Minnesota will be focused on how to get better Recently, Bleacher Report spoke about a few players who could help bolster the Timberwolves and take them to the next level.

One of the players on the list was Seth Curry. Here’s what they had to say about Curry potentially joining Minnesota.

While the Timberwolves will surely take all of the two-way help they can get, they can afford to take on a lesser defender if it means powering up their offense.

Thanks to having an anchor in the middle with Rudy Gobert, the Timberwolves were one of the best defensive teams in the league for much of the season. However, at times, offense was an issue for Minnesota.

During the playoffs, we saw the emergence of Anthony Edwards as a true star in the league. Edwards was able to have multiple 40-point games in the playoffs and went toe-to-toe with the likes of MVP Nikola Jokic in the postseason.

Adding a player like Curry would instantly help the Minnesota Timberwolves in terms of their shooting ability, as like his dad and brother, Curry is prolific from behind the 3-point line. Adding Curry shouldn’t cost the Timberwolves much, either.

At this stage of his career, Curry would be more of a back-end rotation, situational player than someone who commands major minutes. But, if he came off the bench and hit a few 3-pointers, Minnesota would certainly be happy.

As the Minnesota Timberwolves reflect on the season, it will be interesting to see how they look to make some upgrades for the team moving forward.
