According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Kyle Lowry will not remain with the Charlotte Hornets. The Miami Heat traded Lowry to the Hornets in the blockbuster Terry Rozier deal.

Charlotte (10-31) will either trade Lowry or agree to a buyout with the veteran.

“The Hornets will work to move Lowry, 37, onto another team before the deadline, but short of finding a deal for him and his $29.6 million expiring contract, he could eventually become a contract buyout candidate, sources said,” Wojnarowski wrote.
