Erin Andrews is set to have ample opportunities to cover NFC action for FOX in the coming years, and she’s eagerly looking forward to witnessing Jordan Love’s leadership within the Green Bay Packers organization.
During an episode of her “Calm Down” podcast alongside Charissa Thompson, Andrews shared her thoughts on Love and the Packers in the wake of their recent playoff run.
“I’m so excited for the Packers’ future. I just am. Jordan Love is such a dream. We’ve talked about it before. He is so sweet. He is so thoughtful. He’s really done well in getting that group together. I’m excited about what’s going to happen down the road.”
In his debut season as the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, following in the footsteps of Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love displayed remarkable prowess.
He threw an impressive 36 touchdowns, earning a quarterback rating of 96.1. The 25-year-old quarterback made quite the splash in his first postseason appearance, completing 16 out of 21 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns in a remarkable 48-32 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
Erin Andrews had another opportunity to observe Love’s performance when FOX aired an NFC Divisional Round game pitting the Packers against the San Francisco 49ers. Although the Packers came close to pulling off a second road upset, the 49ers mounted a comeback, securing a 24-21 win.
Despite Love’s two interceptions during this elimination game, the former No. 26 pick solidified his position as Green Bay’s rising franchise quarterback. It’s highly likely that he’ll be rewarded with a lucrative contract extension before the 2024 season kicks off.
