The Philadelphia Eagles have now become a part of the growing list of NFL teams that have shown interest in former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

According to an update from NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo, the Eagles conducted an interview with Kingsbury for their currently vacant offensive coordinator position, and this interview was reportedly conducted remotely.

“The #Eagles interviewed USC senior offensive analyst Kliff Kingsbury for their offensive coordinator job today, sources say. Kingsbury recently interviewed with the #Bears, who hired Shane Waldron as OC. Philly moved on from OC Brian Johnson after one season.”

The Eagles join a trio of teams pursuing Kingsbury’s services.

Earlier in the offseason, the Chicago Bears made the journey to Los Angeles to meet with Kingsbury, who was then serving as a USC assistant coach. However, the Bears ultimately decided to sign former Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Shane Waldron for their offensive coordinator role.

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers have also expressed interest in Kingsbury, although it remains unclear whether an interview with the team has taken place.

Philadelphia’s 2023 season began on a strong note with a 10-1 record but experienced a downturn as the season progressed.

Following a disappointing conclusion to the 2023 campaign, head coach Nick Sirianni made the decision to dismiss both coordinators. As a result, he is actively searching for their replacements, exploring a wide range of potential candidates.
