Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is one of the most electrifying players to ever play football. He puts up big numbers. He makes Pro Bowls. He is probably about to win his second MVP award.

However, there has been one glaring thing missing from Jackson’s otherwise glittering resume: playoff success.

Well, Jackson broke through with a big performance on Saturday, leading the Ravens to a 34-10 win over the Houston Texans in the team’s Divisional Round matchup.

The 26-year-old went 16-for-22 with 152 yards and a couple of touchdowns while also carrying the ball 11 times for 100 yards and a pair of scores.

After the game, Jackson was asked if he heard all of the noise about his tendency to fade in the postseason over the years. It seems safe to say that he took note of it.

“You know I heard that,” Jackson said, via Bobby Kownack of NFL.com. “I’ve seen it, I don’t even got to hear it. I see it. But it is what it is. I don’t really care about what people say. I’m trying to win. Day in, day out, every time I’m on that field, I’m trying to play to the best of my ability.”

The Ravens were locked in a 10-10 tie at halftime, but they scored 24 unanswered points in the second half. Seventeen of those points came in the fourth quarter.

Now, Jackson will advance to the AFC Championship Game for the first time in his career and will take on the winner of the Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills clash that will take place on Sunday.

Going into the Texans matchup, Jackson had gone just 1-3 in four playoff games, throwing for 900 yards, three touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 55.9 percent of his passes and posting a meager passer rating of 68.3.

But now, it looks like Lamar Jackson is finally ready to take Baltimore on a Super Bowl run.
