Buffalo Bills Receive Brutal Injury Update On Key Offensive Playmaker

The upcoming AFC Divisional round will see the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs reignite their long-standing rivalry this Sunday.

In an unusual postseason twist, the Chiefs will be hitting the road to face the Bills, offering Buffalo a coveted opportunity to return to the conference championship for the first time since the 2020 season.

However, the Bills are grappling with a series of injury concerns ahead of this critical matchup, with wide receiver Gabe Davis taking a hit. Davis is currently nursing a ligament issue in his knee, and as reported by the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, he hasn’t participated in practice this week.

Throughout the season, Davis has stood as quarterback Josh Allen’s second most productive receiver, trailing solely behind Stefon Diggs in receiving yards. Their partnership has yielded an impressive seven touchdowns this season, just one shy of Diggs’ tally.

Should Davis be unable to take the field, the Bills are likely to heavily rely on rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid in the passing game. Kincaid proved himself as one of the standout rookies of the 2023 season, amassing an impressive 73 receptions during his debut campaign.

When it comes to playoff encounters, the Bills-Chiefs rivalry has largely favored Kansas City, with the Chiefs emerging victorious in both of the matchups within the Mahomes and Allen era.

As Sunday approaches, the Bills are hopeful that the third time will be the charm, as they extend a welcoming hand to Mahomes for his inaugural road playoff game of his career.
