Washington Huskies Lose Star Defender To Transfer Portal After Title Game Run

Alabama isn’t the sole school potentially facing a sudden player exodus due to a coaching change. News of Washington Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer’s departure to take the helm at the Crimson Tide has triggered a ripple effect.

Washington cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, in response to these developments, has reportedly entered the transfer portal, as reported by Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.

Muhammad showcased his talent by earning Second-team All-Pac-12 honors during his debut season with the Huskies, following three years at Oklahoma State.

His remarkable stats from the past year include 16 passes defended, three interceptions, 46 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and even two sacks.

While this is undoubtedly a significant loss for the Huskies, it presents an exciting opportunity for any team fortunate enough to secure his transfer.

Although Alabama seems like a natural fit for Jabbar Muhammad, given Kalen DeBoer’s move, the Crimson Tide typically boasts a stacked roster in the defensive backfield. The Washington Huskies are losing a very huge part of their defense if this transfer goes through.
