Eagles Receive Huge Jalen Hurts Injury Update Before Wild Card

Jalen Hurts
NFL Analysis Network

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts appears to be in good shape for Monday’s playoff clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite a finger injury on his throwing hand.

His performance during Friday’s practice indicates he is prepared for game action.

Take a look at Hurts during practice for yourself:

During Friday’s practice, Hurts demonstrated the ability to throw the ball down the field, marking a positive development. This comes after Thursday’s practice, during which he only attempted one short pass.

According to ESPN’s Tim McManus, this marks the first time Hurts has thrown a pass since sustaining his injury last Sunday in the game against the New York Giants. In that game, Hurts initially started but was replaced by Marcus Mariota after getting injured.

The availability of Jalen Hurts for Monday’s game holds significant importance, even though the Eagles faced challenges in their recent performances. Despite these struggles, Hurts concluded the regular season with impressive statistics, amassing 3,858 passing yards and throwing 23 touchdowns.

The kickoff for Monday’s game is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern Time and will be broadcast on ESPN/ABC.
