The San Francisco 49ers kept up their winning ways in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals. While they admittedly have a few areas to clean up, such as their tackling and slowing down a rushing attack, it was another dominant victory for San Francisco.

They won the game 45-29, clinching a playoff spot and the NFC West title in the process. At 11-3, the 49ers look like one of the best teams in the NFL and deserve the Super Bowl consideration they are receiving.

Against the Cardinals, they were clicking on all cylinders. Quarterback Brock Purdy had another strong performance, as he is now the odds-on favorite to win the MVP award. Running back Christian McCaffery strengthed his own MVP campaign with another 100-yard rushing day, his third in the last four games. He has surpassed the 100-total-yard mark in six straight games.

It is no coincidence that once the 49ers got McCaffrey going again, they started racking up wins. After winning the first five games of the season, San Francisco hit a skid and lost three in a row. They have bounced back in a big way, as Sunday’s victory was their sixth in a row.

This most recent stretch has been a dominant one for the team. They have won all six games by at least 12 points. According to NFL on CBS, they are the first team to win six consecutive games by 12+ points each since the New Orleans Saints in 2009. That Saints team went on to win the Super Bowl and the 49ers are hoping to replicate that as well.

The 49ers have been similarly crushing their opponents all season. Only the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2, who kicked a field goal as time expired to cut the deficit to seven points, has lost by single digits at the hands of San Francisco this season.

This is a team on a mission, looking to get some revenge after their postseason was cut short following injuries to Purdy and Josh Johnson in the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles. If they continue playing at this level, they are going to be a tough team to beat.
