On July 21, 2026, Hottle was involved in a single-vehicle car accident in Ijamsville, Maryland. According to authorities, she was a passenger in a 1995 Honda Accord driven by a 19-year-old man when the vehicle drifted off the right side of a two-lane road on Windsor Road and struck a culvert.
