With the NFL trade deadline set for Nov. 10, the Las Vegas Raiders have drawn attention as a possible landing spot for Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy amid questions about his role in Cleveland.
The Raiders enter Week 7 at 3-3 and host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. A victory or two in the coming weeks could position them more firmly in the playoff conversation, and the team has been linked to wide receiver help before the deadline.
Jeudy has seen reduced snaps with the Browns this season after the team used high draft picks on rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. Through six games, the 27-year-old has 12 receptions for 150 yards and no touchdowns.
That output marks a sharp drop from 2024, when Jeudy caught 90 passes for 1,229 yards and four touchdowns while earning a Pro Bowl selection in his first year with Cleveland.
Fox Sports writer Greg Auman has pointed to Jeudy as a realistic addition for a team like the Raiders.
“Two years ago, Jerry Jeudy had 1,229 receiving yards and made the Pro Bowl,” Auman wrote. “But the Cleveland Browns used two top-40 draft picks on receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, so Jeudy’s role has dropped off considerably. He has eight catches for 81 yards, but could be a solid No. 2 on another team.”
Auman added that a contending team could find value in the former Alabama standout.
“If the Raiders think they contend, perhaps he goes there. He had a career-best six touchdowns in 2022 in Denver when he overlapped with current Las Vegas coach Klint Kubiak.”
Jeudy’s 2022 season with the Broncos produced 67 catches for 972 yards and those six scores.
The Raiders already feature tight end Brock Bowers, who has been a primary target in the passing game under Kubiak. Adding Jeudy could give quarterback Kirk Cousins another experienced option outside without requiring a major draft investment.
Jeudy signed a three-year extension worth roughly $52 million after the Browns acquired him from Denver in 2024. He has one year remaining on the deal and is unlikely to draw more than a mid-round pick in return given his current production and remaining salary.
Teams around the league have indicated Jeudy is available, though Cleveland has not appeared to shop him aggressively. Any deal would likely involve a Day 3 selection.
The Raiders have not made a trade this season. Their receiver group has relied heavily on Bowers and younger options such as Tre Tucker while dealing with injuries.
Jeudy’s age and prior production with Kubiak in Denver remain the main selling points for interested clubs.
Whether the Raiders pursue him will depend on their results over the next two weeks and the cost Cleveland is willing to accept before the deadline.
