The Baltimore Ravens (10-3) secured their 10th victory of the season by defeating the Los Angeles Rams (6-7) this past Sunday. This accomplishment positions them as the AFC team with the most wins through Week 14, seizing the lead after the Miami Dolphins fell short against the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football.

Now holding the coveted No. 1 seed in the conference and with a near-certain spot in the postseason (according to the New York Times model, Baltimore boasts a >99% chance of reaching the playoffs), the Ravens are not only excelling as a cohesive team but also witnessing individual players amassing accolades on a weekly basis.

Take Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, for instance, who etched a bit of history into Week 14. He completed three passes for a touchdown, marking the 18th time in his Baltimore career—a feat that secured him the singular franchise record in this category, surpassing Joe Flacco’s previous record of 17 such games.

It’s noteworthy to consider that Flacco took 11 years to achieve his 17 games with 3+ TD passes, while Lamar has shattered this record in just five seasons and a half.

In the recent clash against the Rams, Jackson showcased his prowess by completing 24-of-43 passes for 316 yards and three aerial touchdowns.

Not confined to his passing abilities, Jackson also carried the ball 10 times for 70 yards, extending his career-long rushing tally. He inches closer to potentially becoming the most prolific rushing quarterback in NFL history, a milestone he is poised to achieve around the midpoint of the 2024 season if all goes according to plan.

In a remarkable achievement just last month, Jackson became only the fourth quarterback in NFL history to surpass the 5,000-yard rushing mark, joining the then-exclusive trio of Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, and Michael Vick.

As Week 15 commences, Lamar Jackson is merely 1,028 rushing yards away from claiming the title of the No. 1 rushing quarterback—a milestone well within reach for the Ravens’ dynamic quarterback, expected to unfold over the remaining games of the 2023 season and into the start of the 2024 campaign.
