Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. may not be the same dominant force he was years ago, but he is still a critical part of the best team in football.

The Ravens are an NFL-best 13-3 heading into the final week of the regular season and seem primed to make a Super Bowl run.

Beckham raved about his club this week.

“This is the best team I’ve ever been on, from the top to the bottom. We set ourselves up for success,” Beckham said on Inside The NFL (via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk). “Everything is right in front of us.”

Beckham signed a one-year deal worth up to $18 million with Baltimore back in the offseason, and deciding to join the Ravens has certainly paid dividends.

In 14 games this season, Beckham has logged 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns. Not exactly elite numbers, but there is no doubt that the 31-year-old has made his mark.

Back in Week 11, for example, Beckham caught four passes for 116 yards in a win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Two games later, he finished with four grabs for 97 yards and a score in the Ravens’ victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Beckham, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the New York Giants with the 12th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He spent the first five years of his career with the Giants, making the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons. However, injuries debilitated Beckham during his final couple of seasons in New York, as he played in just 16 games between 2017 and 2018.

The Giants then traded him to the Cleveland Browns, where he spent two-and-a-half disappointing campaigns. The Browns waived him in November 2021, and he proceeded to join the Rams, where he would help them win a Super Bowl.

After sitting out all of 2022 while recovering from a torn ACL, Beckham re-joined the NFL ranks this year and could very well add another Super Bowl ring to his display case.

The Ravens will battle the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season finale this Sunday.
