The Atlanta Falcons might finally find a solution to their longstanding quarterback issues, as the stars appear to be aligning in their favor.

During a recent interview, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was asked about the possibility of working alongside the experienced head coach, Bill Belichick, formerly of the New England Patriots. Surprisingly, Cousins did not dismiss the idea.

“I’m not going to turn down an opportunity to play with a future Hall of Fame coach, but we’ll have to see where March leads. It’s just a lot of unknowns right now.”

With Cousins expected to become a free agent soon and Bill Belichick actively seeking a new opportunity, speculations are rife, and many are drawing connections that lead to the Atlanta Falcons.

Cousins’ wife is from Georgia and may welcome a return to the state. Being able to play with Belichick would be a massive draw for the longtime star quarterback as well.

Belichick recently underwent an interview with the Falcons earlier this week, and reports suggest that a second interview with the team is in the pipeline. When you factor in the impending free agency of Cousins and the presence of talented young offensive players on the Falcons’ roster, it’s starting to look like a potentially perfect match.

So, the question arises: Should the Atlanta Falcons hire Bill Belichick and give him Kirk Cousins to work with at quarterback?
