The Dallas Cowboys were routed by the Buffalo Bills by a score of 31-10 this past Sunday, and afterward, Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons bemoaned his team’s lack of fortitude on the road.

“Honestly, it’s just unacceptable at this point,” Parsons said, via Clarence Hill Jr. of The Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “There’s no excuse for it. It’s mind boggling. I don’t understand why we’re not playing well and why we’re not coming together on the road.”

Dallas has gone 7-0 at home this season but has gone just 3-4 on the road.

The loss to the Bills snapped a five-game winning streak for the Cowboys, who blew out the Philadelphia Eagles 33-13 in Week 14.

Going into the Buffalo matchup, Dallas had been thoroughly dominant during its winning streak, scoring over 40 points three times and scoring no less than 33 points in any of its five victories.

Parsons was essentially a non-factor against the Bills, logging just two tackles and no sacks. On the season overall, he has racked up 46 tackles, 12.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

The 24-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Penn State, was selected by the Cowboys with the 12th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.

He immediately established himself as one of the league’s premier pass rushers, totaling 84 tackles, 13 sacks and three forced fumbles during his rookie campaign. He followed that up by rattling off 65 stops, 13.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and a defensive touchdown last season.

Micah Parsons earned trips to the Pro Bowl as well as First-Team All-Pro selections in each of his first two NFL campaigns.

Dallas is 10-4 and will take on the Miami Dolphins next weekend before facing the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders to close out the regular season.
