Report: Hornets’ Gordon Hayward Is A Buyout Candidate

According to NBA insider Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Hornets forward Gordon Hayward could be a buyout candidate.

Hayward is in the final year of his contract. He’s making $31.5 million this season. The Butler product signed a four-year, $120 million deal with the Hornets in November 2020 as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Boston Celtics.
