Report: Hornets’ Terry Rozier Prefers To Get Traded To Heat

According to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, Charlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier prefers to get traded to the Miami Heat.

The Hornets are open to trading everyone on the roster except LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller and Mark Williams.

“Terry Rozier’s strong play has made the combo guard a more viable trade candidate than ever at his $24 million average annual salary, with a known preference to join the Miami Heat, league sources told Yahoo Sports,” Fischer wrote in his latest NBA column.

Rozier is averaging 24.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks this season while shooting 45.7% from the field, 36.9% from beyond the arc and 87.5% from the free-throw line. He’s making $23.2 million.
