Eagles, Browns Request Interview With Intriguing Chargers’ Coach

The Los Angeles Chargers made it official on Wednesday, announcing the appointment of Jim Harbaugh as their new head coach.

The anticipation is that Harbaugh will bring a fresh perspective and help propel the Chargers into a consistent playoff-contending team. However, as Harbaugh takes the reins, attention turns to the existing coaching staff, particularly offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who is already generating significant interest.

With Harbaugh’s arrival, it’s expected that he will assemble his own coaching team, replacing those who were in charge during his absence. This puts Kellen Moore’s future with the Chargers in question, as the team has granted him permission to explore opportunities elsewhere.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns have wasted no time in requesting interviews with Moore.

Kellen Moore made a significant impact during his tenure as the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, transforming their offense into one of the league’s most formidable units over three seasons. The Chargers brought him in with the hope of revitalizing their offense, particularly guiding Justin Herbert and the team to success.

Unfortunately, due to various factors, including injuries, that transformation didn’t materialize. Now, with Harbaugh looking to implement changes, Moore might be inclined to seek opportunities elsewhere.

The Eagles are in search of someone to assist Jalen Hurts and their offense in finding their stride, while the Cleveland Browns, under a new regime, aim for stability with Deshaun Watson leading the way.

It’s likely that more teams will express interest in acquiring Moore if the Chargers decide to let him go. The outcome of this situation will be intriguing, and it remains to be seen which team will ultimately secure Moore’s services in light of Harbaugh’s appointment.
