49ers Legend Predicts Deebo Samuel’s Injury Status

Questions surrounding the status of San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Deebo Samuel have arisen after he was absent from Wednesday’s practice.

Samuel sustained a shoulder injury during the team’s recent victory against the Green Bay Packers, causing him to miss the remainder of that game. As of now, uncertainty lingers regarding his availability for the upcoming game.

However, the iconic 49ers wide receiver, Jerry Rice, appears confident in Deebo’s return to action this Sunday.

“I remember this guy, I think it was Super Bowl 29, he played with a Grade 3 separated shoulder and it happened early during the ball game.”

Rice made it explicit that he believes Deebo will be donning the team’s uniform for the upcoming matchup.

“I expect Deebo Samuel to be on that football field. That’s the bottom line. Deebo, being the competitor that he is, he’s gonna be ready to play. I’m not looking for him to sit this one out or anything like that. We got to have all of our soldiers . We’ve got to have everybody to get ready to rally and get ready to go and battle man. I think he’s going to lead the way.”

San Francisco is set to face off against the Detroit Lions on Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. ET, with the game broadcast on Fox. Hopefully, Samuel will be able to give it a go as he’s the heart and soul of the 49ers’ offense.
