Michigan Wolverines Eyeing 4 Coaches To Potentially Replace Harbaugh

The Michigan Wolverines may soon find themselves in the hunt for a new head football coach as their current head coach, Jim Harbaugh, is exploring opportunities in the NFL.

Harbaugh is reportedly in discussions with the Los Angeles Chargers, and other NFL teams could also express interest in him.

In the event that Harbaugh departs, the question arises: who will Michigan target as his replacement?

Bruce Feldman of The Athletic has suggested four potential candidates for the job, with Michigan’s offensive coordinator, Sherrone Moore, topping the list.

“Moore has emerged as a strong candidate, especially after the last month of the regular season. The 37-year-old is still young, but he proved more than capable of the job when he stepped in.”

Other contenders mentioned by Feldman include Lance Leipold, the head coach at Kansas, and Chris Kleiman, who currently leads Kansas State’s football program.

Additionally, there’s the intriguing possibility of Michigan considering Brian Kelly, the head coach of LSU, as a wildcard option.

The forthcoming pursuit of the Michigan Wolverines’ next head coach promises to be an intriguing and closely watched development in the world of college football.
