Tennessee Volunteers Get Major Two-Way Commitment For 2024

In a significant development for the Tennessee Volunteers, highly-touted 2024 prospect Colin Brazzell has officially committed to the university.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound talent hailing from Legacy Senior High School in Midland, Texas, announced his commitment, expressing gratitude towards the coaching staff that paved the way for his future.

Brazzell conveyed his appreciation to coaches Kelsey Pope, Josh Heupel, and Tim Banks for affording him the opportunity to pursue both his education and football career.

“Thank you coach Kelsey Pope, coach Josh Heupel, coach Tim Banks for giving me an opportunity to further my education and football career. With that being said, I will be committing to the University of Tennessee.”

His commitment carries special significance as he follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Chris Brazzell, who is already a wide receiver for the Volunteers. Chris initially transferred to Tennessee from Tulane, and his younger sibling now joins him on this exciting journey.

Chris Brazzell, a towering 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds, made a notable impact during his time with the Green Wave from 2022 to 2023. Over the course of 15 games, he showcased his skills with 45 receptions, 722 receiving yards, and five impressive touchdowns. It’s a legacy that Colin Brazzell aims to build upon during his tenure with the Vols, bringing his own unique talent to the field.

Before settling on Tennessee, Colin Brazzell attracted considerable interest from various other schools. His list of offers included Austin Peay, Memphis, Purdue, and Utah Tech, highlighting the widespread recognition of his abilities.

Ultimately, Brazzell’s commitment to the University of Tennessee not only underscores his dedication to the sport but also cements his role as a promising prospect for the 2024 season.
