Free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill remains the subject of an active NFL Personal Conduct Policy investigation even as teams show fresh interest in signing him.

The league has confirmed that the review is still open, according to Pro Football Talk.

The case was triggered by a divorce filing from Hill’s wife, Keeta Vaccaro. She has made specific allegations of domestic violence against him.

The full details of those contentions became public in October 2025.

Hill’s earlier legal history adds complexity.

In 2015 he pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation in a case involving his then-pregnant girlfriend. That prior outcome could support an enhanced suspension if the NFL finds a Personal Conduct Policy violation linked to the newer allegations.

The league almost never publishes a schedule for these reviews. Investigations typically stay pending until a resolution appears with little advance notice.

Hill’s current status as an unsigned player has reduced the immediate pressure to finish the work. A contract with any club could return the matter to higher priority.

Hill is also working back from a major knee injury suffered in September 2025. He dislocated the left knee and tore multiple ligaments, including the ACL, and required surgery.

Before the injury he played four games in 2025 and finished with 21 receptions for 265 yards and one touchdown.

Across his first 10 NFL seasons he totaled 819 catches for 11,363 yards and 83 receiving touchdowns, plus seven rushing scores. The Miami Dolphins released him in early 2026 after the injury cut short his season.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus has indicated that talks with clubs are advancing.

“I would anticipate Tyreek potentially signing with a team over the next few days,” Rosenhaus said.

The Kansas City Chiefs are among the teams that have reached out. Their need grew after Tyquan Thornton dislocated an ankle in Sunday’s victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Rashee Rice has also been limited by a hamstring injury.Any club that signs the 32-year-old receiver would accept risk on both his recovery and possible league discipline.

No timetable for the Personal Conduct Policy decision has been released.
