Baltimore Ravens coach Jesse Minter said Monday he still does not know whether quarterback Lamar Jackson will be available for Sunday night’s game at Atlanta after an ankle injury cut short Jackson’s afternoon against the Tennessee Titans.

The Ravens improved to 3-1 with a 24-18 win Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. Jackson left late in the second quarter and did not return. He departed the stadium afterward wearing a protective boot on his left ankle.

Before the injury, Jackson completed 15 of 20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed twice for 20 yards. The performance gave him a 144.2 passer rating for the half and marked the fourth-highest first-half yardage total of his career.

The injury occurred on the final offensive snap of the half. Titans defensive end Jermaine Johnson II sacked Jackson from behind, and Johnson’s shoulder landed on the outside of Jackson’s left ankle. Jackson limped off and was listed as questionable to return. Team officials later decided against sending him back in.

Minter addressed the situation at his Monday news conference while the club continued reviewing imaging.

“Yeah, I don’t, I don’t know the chances yet. We’re still gathering a lot of the information and the imaging and things like that,” Minter said. “Just dealing with a little bit of an ankle, and we’ll kind of see where that shakes out. Full trust and confidence in him that when it’s ready to roll that we’ll roll and go from there.”

Asked whether the issue figures to be short-term or long-term, Minter offered a measured view.

“No, I really don’t think it’s going to be crazy long-term, but we’ll see what happens.”

Through four games, Jackson has completed 68 of 96 passes (70.8 percent) for 967 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. His passer rating stands at 119.6. He has also rushed for 144 yards and one touchdown. Pro Football Focus graded him 91.5 overall, second among qualified quarterbacks.

Backup Tyler Huntley handled the second half. He completed eight of nine passes for 63 yards and ran four times for 16 yards. The Baltimore Ravens did not score after halftime. The Ravens managed only one drive longer than 30 yards in those two quarters, and that series ended with a missed field goal. Tennessee closed the gap with 11 second-half points.

NFL Network reported Sunday night that Jackson is believed to be day-to-day. An MRI was scheduled for Monday. Ian Rapoport said the initial expectation is that the two-time MVP will not miss extended time, though results of the tests will determine the timeline.

Baltimore visits the Falcons (1-2) on Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET in a game televised by NBC. The Ravens scored 24 points in the first half Sunday and none afterward, underscoring how much the offense leans on Jackson’s dual-threat ability.

The club expects to monitor Jackson closely in practice. Wednesday’s session will provide the first on-field look at his ankle. Officials have indicated they will be cautious and could limit his work or hold him out of portions of the week.

Jackson missed four games last season because of a hamstring injury and a back bruise. He has not missed a game in 2026. The Baltimore Ravens rank seventh in the league in scoring at 29.0 points per game.
