Packers Star Micah Parsons Doesn’t Hold Back About Jordan Love

The Green Bay Packers have reached the postseason during every campaign in which Jordan Love has served as the starting quarterback. Despite that consistent achievement, the franchise has experienced back-to-back exits in the wild-card round, leaving fans and players eager for a more substantial playoff push in the upcoming 2026 NFL season.

Love now enters the second year of his lucrative four-year, $220 million deal, carrying significant pressure to elevate the team’s performance and move closer to capturing the Lombardi Trophy. His recent play has only heightened those ambitions, as he delivered another impressive year with strong efficiency and decision-making under center.

In that most recent season, the quarterback accumulated 3,381 passing yards while recording 23 touchdowns against just six interceptions. Those numbers underscore his growth and reliability, helping him gain greater admiration across the league from fellow professionals.

On Friday, the NFL revealed its annual Top 100 list, a ranking determined exclusively through votes cast by current players. Love secured the 72nd position on this respected compilation, marking a notable honor even if it represented a slight decline from the previous edition.

According to Pro Football Reference, Love had occupied the 68th spot on last year’s list before slipping four places. While appearing on the countdown remains a meaningful milestone for any athlete, some observers and teammates felt the placement undervalued his contributions and potential.

One vocal supporter has been Packers EDGE rusher Micah Parsons, who joined the organization this past season and gained direct insight into Love’s abilities during practices and games. Parsons took to social media to express his strong disagreement with the ranking.

“71 players in the NFL aren’t better than Jordan love!” Parsons wrote in an X post.

In the league’s official announcement post, Parsons offered additional insight into why he holds his teammate in such high regard.

“I mean, you go through the tape, he has so many like, marvelous throws.”

Parsons’ passionate defense highlights the kind of respect Love has cultivated within the locker room. Having watched the quarterback operate up close, the pass rusher clearly believes Love’s skill set places him among the game’s elite at his position.

As the Packers prepare for the grind of another season, all veterans are scheduled to report to training camp on July 28. That upcoming period will offer Love another opportunity to refine his game and lead the team toward the deeper playoff success that has so far remained just out of reach.

Expectations will be elevated once again for the signal-caller, especially given the financial commitment the franchise has made. A standout performance could not only silence any doubters but also improve his standing when players cast ballots for next year’s Top 100.

Even if the broader league voting placed him at No. 72, the public backing from a teammate like Parsons reveals the depth of confidence that exists inside Green Bay’s organization.

This internal support could prove crucial as the team chases its championship goals in 2026.
