The New York Mets have activated six players from the 60-day injured list across their Dominican Summer League affiliates, according to the official MiLB transaction log.
The moves, concentrated on the DSL Mets Blue and DSL Mets Orange, return a group of young international signees to active status as the complex-level season winds down or as organizational housekeeping continues into the offseason.
All six are in the earliest stages of their professional careers, having signed as undrafted free agents between 2024 and 2026.
Shortstop Giomar Ubiera returns to the DSL Mets Blue.
The 18-year-old Dominican, signed in January 2025 for a $100,000 bonus, had shown plate discipline and speed in his debut season before landing on the injured list in late May 2025.
In 42 games that year, he posted a .212/.434/.327 line with 14 stolen bases, drawing walks at a high rate while flashing gap power.
Left-handed pitcher Angel Montero and infielder Georwill Rodriguez also came off the 60-day list with the Blue squad.
Montero, an 18-year-old Dominican lefty signed in 2025 for $175,000, has logged modest innings with strikeout rates in the mid-to-high 20s percent range across limited DSL work.
Rodriguez, an 18-year-old Venezuelan, is a contact-and-speed profile who has posted elevated on-base percentages despite low batting averages, with 15 career stolen bases in fewer than 70 at-bats.
On the Orange side, right-hander Darling Perez, outfielder Anthony Delgado, and right-hander Cristopher Del Orbe were activated.
Perez, a 19-year-old Dominican signed in 2025, made 12 starts in 2025 and finished with a 4.30 ERA over 37.2 innings.
Delgado, a 19-year-old born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and signed in 2024, has drawn walks at a strong clip in limited DSL action and showed a brief hot streak earlier in 2026 before injury.
Del Orbe, a 19-year-old Dominican signed in March 2026, has been noted in organizational circles for a fastball that has touched 96 mph paired with a slider.
These activations do not affect the major-league roster or even full-season affiliates; they simply restore the players to the active DSL rosters after extended absences.
Injuries at the complex level are common among 17- to 19-year-olds adjusting to professional workloads, and the November timing is consistent with end-of-season or instructional-league clean-up rather than any midseason emergency.
For the Mets, the moves keep a handful of low-cost international signees on the active roster as the organization continues to evaluate which of them might warrant a stateside assignment in 2027.
None of the six currently projects as a top prospect, but the returns of Ubiera’s on-base skills, Rodriguez’s speed, and Del Orbe’s velocity give the DSL staff a slightly deeper pool to finish out the calendar year.
