New York Giants fans are going to have the opportunity to see the team unlike ever before. It was announced that they are going to the team taking part in a new Hard Knocks series on HBO.

Hard Knocks has been around since 2001 and gave fans an unprecedented look into training camp in the NFL. Cameras would be following around one team during training camp and preseason, looking at how practice was conducted and some of the difficult decisions when it comes to making cuts.

In 2021, they expanded to an in-season version of Hard Knocks. Fans would get a look into the daily operations of a team week-to-week when the games matter most. This year, we are getting another new update that the New York Giants are part of.

HBO is giving fans a look at how the offseason unfolded for Big Blue. Cameras have been with the franchise since January and will continue shooting through July. At that point, they will shift to the normal training camp version we have seen for 17 seasons.

This offseason version will be interesting as the New York Giants were involved in plenty of storylines. The free agency of star running back Saquon Barkley will likely be a major point of the season, as he opted to sign with the rival Philadelphia Eagles.

How the team handled issues with former defensive coordinator Wink Martindale will also be a major storyline. After two seasons with the team, Martindale seemed to be starting a mutiny against head coach Brian Daboll, who was not without fault for how he handled some situations.

The New York Giants also executed a blockbuster trade in the offseason, acquiring Brian Burns from the Carolina Panthers. Seeing some behind-the-scenes action of how that went down will also make for good television for viewers.
