The New Orleans Saints have bolstered their roster with a notable addition, securing the services of Equanimeous St. Brown, a seasoned wide receiver with a wealth of NFL experience.

The announcement came from the team on Friday, revealing the signing of St. Brown, who happens to be the elder sibling of Detroit Lions standout, Amon-Ra St. Brown.

St. Brown boasts six years of NFL tenure, having previously showcased his talents with the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears.

Originally drafted by the Packers in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft from Notre Dame, St. Brown exhibited his skills with 92 receptions, accumulating 1,484 yards, and tallying 13 touchdowns across 32 collegiate games.

Transitioning to the professional arena, St. Brown has notched 63 receptions, totaling 928 yards and scoring two touchdowns throughout his NFL career.

His standout performance came in 2022 with the Bears, where he started in all 16 games, securing 21 passes for 323 yards, and adding a touchdown to his name.

St. Brown’s arrival adds depth to the Saints’ offense, which is undergoing potential transformation ahead of the upcoming season. With the departure of Michael Thomas from the team, new opportunities arise for players who may have previously been overlooked in their careers.

Eyeing a return to the postseason in 2024, the Saints aim to break their streak of three consecutive playoff absences. In the highly competitive NFC South division, characterized by its unpredictability, teams often mount strong postseason pushes despite lackluster performances in previous seasons.

As the Saints strive for playoff contention, St. Brown could prove instrumental in contributing to their success on the field.
