Los Angeles Angels’ luminary, Mike Trout, shared heartwarming family news on Thursday evening.

Trout and his wife, Jessica, joyfully revealed that they are expecting their second child, a baby boy, to join their family this summer. The announcement came through a heartfelt post on Instagram.

“Baby brother on deck #comingsummer #trouttribe #thentherewerefour.”

The Trouts, who exchanged vows in 2017, are already proud parents to a son named Beckham Aaron Trout, who will celebrate his fourth birthday in July.

Despite grappling with injuries in recent seasons, Trout has kicked off 2024 on a high note. As of now, the three-time American League MVP boasts impressive statistics, with a batting average of .318, an on-base percentage of .400, and a slugging percentage of .795.

His remarkable performance includes leading the league with six home runs, eight RBI, and eight runs scored in just 12 games.

Los Angeles Angels fans are undoubtedly rooting for Trout to maintain his stellar form at the plate and, more importantly, to remain injury-free in the coming months.

Above all, the entire baseball community extends its warmest wishes to Mike Trout, his wife, and their son as they eagerly anticipate the arrival of their newest family member this summer.
