Birmingham’s very own Na’eem Offord, a talented defensive back from Parker High School, has received a coveted offer from the USC Trojans’ coaching staff.

Offord’s impressive list of offers includes prestigious schools like Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Clemson, Kentucky, Houston, Florida, Ohio State, South Carolina, Stanford, and Florida State, among others.

According to 247Sports, he has also embarked on several unofficial visits, including two trips to Florida State, visits to Tennessee, Ohio State, Miami (twice), and Auburn (three times).

Notably, Offord currently holds the impressive ranking of the No. 5 player in the entire country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Moreover, he stands as the top-rated player both in his home state and in his respective position.

Standing tall at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 180 pounds, this versatile defensive back possesses the skills and versatility to excel as a cornerback, nickelback, or safety at the collegiate level.

USC’s urgent need for depth and quality in the secondary is evident, particularly considering the struggles of the 2023 secondary.

The USC Trojans are actively seeking reinforcements to bolster their ranks. It’s worth noting that in 2024, Offord and other recruits will benefit from the coaching expertise of Doug Belk and Taylor Mays, representing a change from Donte Williams and Alex Grinch.

USC is placing its hopes on improved coaching to propel the Trojans towards becoming a much stronger force as they transition into the competitive Big Ten conference.
