The NCAA is currently conducting an investigation into the Florida Gators football program, as reported by Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times.

This investigation has been ongoing since the summer, although specific details regarding the nature of the inquiry have not been disclosed.

“We have been and will continue to cooperate with the NCAA. We hold ourselves to high standards of excellence and integrity on and off the field. Because we follow NCAA policies about maintaining confidentiality, we are unable to offer additional comments.”

Florida recently concluded its second season under the leadership of Billy Napier, and unfortunately, it was a challenging year for the Gators.

They finished the season with a disappointing 5-7 record, following a 6-7 record during Napier’s inaugural year in 2022.

The upcoming season will be crucial for the Florida Gators football program as they aim to demonstrate tangible progress under Napier’s leadership. Further information regarding the ongoing NCAA investigation will be provided as it becomes available.

Stay tuned for updates on this matter.
