During his initial three seasons in the NFL, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was primarily in the role of Aaron Rodgers’ understudy, absorbing invaluable lessons from one of the league’s all-time greatest quarterbacks.

However, with Rodgers’ departure to the New York Jets during the offseason, the spotlight shifted squarely onto Love as he assumed the mantle of the Green Bay Packers’ starting quarterback.

This season was a rollercoaster for Love, marked by both triumphs and tribulations. In the end, he emerged from the challenges having completed 64 percent of his passes, amassing an impressive 4,159 passing yards, along with an impressive 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

These numbers demonstrated his ability to hold his own as the team’s new leader, guiding the Packers to a playoff berth with a 9-8 record. This weekend, they are set to face the formidable Dallas Cowboys.

One of the Packers’ iconic quarterbacks, Hall of Famer Brett Favre, showered praise on Love for his commendable performance throughout the season.

“Jordan Love’s played outstanding, I’m extremely impressed with him. From day one he was cool, calm, not perfect, but he got better each and every game and right now he’s playing as good as any quarterback in the league. I don’t know Jordan, I mean I’ve watched him play and I’m very impressed with how he plays. But I think he’s a lot more polished than I was in my first playoff game. He doesn’t wear his emotions as much on his sleeve as I did, I think that’s a good thing for the most part. What you see is what you get, never too high, never too low, and the team seems to respond to that very well.”

It will be interesting to see what Love can do in his matchup with the Cowboys on Sunday. Dallas is highly favored to beat the Packers, but Love and company are embracing the underdog role.
