The Green Bay Packers clinched a playoff berth with their win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday behind another incredible performance from quarterback Jordan Love.

After the game, Love expressed what it meant to play so well on the big stage.

“You want to play in big-time games and, when the pressure’s on, just be able to go showcase what you’re made of,” Love said, via the Packers’ official YouTube account. “It’s definitely something that I was waiting for and dreaming of.”

Love went an incredibly efficient 27-for-32 with 316 yards and a couple of touchdowns in the victory, marking his fourth straight game without an interception.

But it wasn’t always so easy for Love and Co.

Going into Week 11, Green Bay was just 3-6 and Love was mired in a miserable slump that had many wondering if he were truly the Packers’ quarterback of the future.

However, Love never doubted that he and his squad could get to this point.

“I think everyone knew what we were capable of,” Love said. “We knew what type of team we had.”

Over his last eight games, Love totaled 17 touchdowns and just one pick as Green Bay went 6-2 to push its record to 9-8 and snare the final Wild Card spot in the NFC.

On the season overall, Love threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 64.2 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 96.1.

The 25-year-old is in his first full campaign as the Packers’ starting signal-caller. He was originally selected by Green Bay with the 26th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft and spent his first three years serving as Aaron Rodgers’ backup.

Jordan Love and Co. will now head on the road to battle the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round of the postseason next Sunday.
