Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones is putting the league on notice following his team’s Wild Card Round playoff win over the Dallas Cowboys.

The Packers hammered the Cowboys by a score of 48-32 on Sunday in a game that was not nearly as close as the score indicates.

Afterward, Jones explained how he and his team revel in being the underdogs.

“We have all the weapons that we need on this team. People can continue to doubt us, but that’s fine,” Jones said, via Green Bay’s official YouTube account. “We love the underdog mentality, we love the underdog approach. What are people gonna say next?”

Jones carried the ball 21 times for 118 yards and three touchdowns in the victory, representing his fourth straight 100-yard performance.

That comes after the 29-year-old did not log a single 100-yard outing prior to Week 16, as most of his regular season was marred by injuries.

“If you feel disrespected, you’ve go do something about it,” added Jones.

The halfback went on to say that it has been a collective effort from the Packers.

“We’re playing all together as one. The blocking unit, they’re doing their thing up front, making it easy for me to pick and choose which hole I want to run through,” Jones said. “I think it’s just a credit to them. And then play calling as well and just getting back healthy and running with something to prove.”

During the regular season, Jones played in 11 games, rushing for 656 yards and a couple of scores while averaging 4.6 yards per carry. He also caught 30 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown.

Green Bay will take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round next weekend.
