The Dallas Cowboys find themselves in a state of disappointment once again following their recent playoff exit, suffering a 48-32 loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round.

Quarterback Dak Prescott, in a candid admission, acknowledged his subpar performance against Green Bay. While he did manage to pass for an impressive 403 yards and three touchdowns, his game was marred by two crucial first-half interceptions, one of which resulted in a pick-6.

As the Cowboys began clearing out their team facility for the offseason on Monday, players took the opportunity to share their thoughts with reporters, both on and off the record.

Among these conversations, an anonymous Cowboy made an intriguing comment about Prescott to NFL Network’s Jane Slater.

“Another player was frustrated with a stubbornness to stick to schemes on both sides of the ball. Motion offenses killing defenses and concern that Dak panics when 1st read not there.”

During the regular season, Prescott had showcased his talent and even found himself in the MVP conversation later in the year. However, the recurring narrative emerges when examining the past three years, where the seasoned quarterback has delivered subpar performances in season-ending playoff defeats.

Dak Prescott, who is currently 30 years old, is heading into the final year of his contract in 2024, raising questions about his future with the team.
